The largest international event for composite materials will take place from 5 to 7 March, 2024 in Paris again: the JEC World. Visit us at stand P-108 in Hall 6.<\/p>\n

This year we\u2019ll present again some of our largest innovations: The new patented ThermHexWAVY honeycomb\u00a0core is characterised by an improved honeycomb geometry, which increases the buckling strength of the honeycomb cell walls. This core achieves a remarkable compression strength increase, especially in honeycombs of low densities.<\/p>\n

Another patented ThermHex honeycomb structure, the new ThermHexCOEX, produced by co-extrusion, leading to sandwich cell walls, is currently further developed in the ExSaZell project in cooperation with several research partners. At the JEC we\u2019ll be showing product samples with the ThermHexWAVY honeycomb geometry and will explain the advantages of the new ThermHexCOEX process. See for yourself the exciting advancements of the new technologies.<\/p>\n

Another highlight information will be the successfully completed HyWaSand project, in which ThermHex Waben and\u00a0it\u2019s partners developed a sandwich storage cover for\u00a0truck interior. The cover will be available as a demonstrator on the stand at the JEC World. It\u2019ll be presented together with the experts of Fraunhofer IMWS Halle (Saale) and Daimler Truck AG.<\/p>\n

Visitors of the ThermHex Waben booth will be provided with expert advice and insights into the wide range of applications of\u00a0thermoplastic honeycomb sandwich technologies as well as the opportunity to discuss possible new projects.<\/p>\n
